No, you can book directly. If you have a regular GP, your BettaHabit doctor can share a summary with them, with your permission.

Independent, HPCSA-registered doctors at our partner practice. You'll see your doctor's name and HPCSA registration number before you book, and you can check them on the HPCSA public register.

Only if your doctor decides you need one after a proper consultation. Many members don't. We don't pay doctors per prescription, and nobody is ever prescribed medicine from a questionnaire.

From a registered pharmacy. Our partner pharmacy can deliver to you, or you can take your script to any pharmacy you prefer. You pay the pharmacy directly.

South African law doesn't allow prescription medicines to be advertised to the public. Your doctor will explain all your options, including medicines, during your consult.

A doctor takes your history, asks about your goals, and agrees a plan with you. It takes about 30 minutes. Our guide to your first online consult explains how to prepare.

Weight management starts with 12 weeks and continues month to month. Injury recovery runs for 6 weeks. Longevity is a 12-month membership.

Your coach helps you turn the doctor's plan into daily habits, checks in with you on WhatsApp, and passes anything medical to your doctor. Coaches don't give medical advice or change your treatment.

No. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, a severe injury or any other emergency, call 10177 for an ambulance (112 from a mobile) or go to your nearest emergency unit.

No. Anyone can order them. If you take prescription medicine, are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your doctor or pharmacist first.

Anywhere in South Africa. Delivery takes 2 to 4 working days to main centres, a little longer to outlying areas. Orders over R800 ship free.

They are health supplements: products that add nutrients to your diet. They are not medicines, and they aren't intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Doctor consults and rehab sessions may be claimable, depending on your plan. Memberships and supplements usually aren't. Our medical aid guide explains what to ask your scheme.

Send us a WhatsApp or an email any time before your next billing date. There's no lock-in. You can also pause for up to two months.

You won't pay BettaHabit anything. Memberships only start after your first consult, if you and your doctor decide to go ahead. The consult fee is paid to the practice.

Your medical record is kept by the practice that treats you, under its duties as a healthcare provider and under POPIA. We only see what you agree to share for coaching, such as your goals and check-ins. We never sell personal information. Our privacy policy has the detail.
